This role is for a Purchasing Manager who will lead and develop a team, own market analysis and commodity strategies, drive cost reduction, and serve as a lead negotiator for supplier agreements. The position requires collaboration with global purchasing counterparts and acting as an advisor to various internal departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Commodity Management.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with aptitude for coaching or leading others and building high‑performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to apply sound business judgment.
  • Effective communicator who can influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable balancing strategic priorities with day‑to‑day execution.
  • Proven potential and aspiration to grow into roles with broader scope, influence, and organizational impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Commodity Specialists, strengthening leadership capability and elevating team performance.
  • Own market analysis and commodity strategies, gaining visibility for driving decisions that influence cost, risk, and supply continuity.
  • Translate complex market data into raw material forecasts that support divisional and global planning.
  • Drive total cost reduction strategies across assigned commodities, turning insight into measurable business results.
  • Serve as the lead negotiator for high‑impact supplier agreements, expanding strategic negotiation and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Collaborate with global purchasing counterparts, gaining exposure to enterprise‑level alignment and global market strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Divisions, and cross‑functional partners by clearly communicating cost drivers, risks, and supply conditions.
