About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating purchasing activities to ensure optimal stock levels for inventory needs, monitoring supplier performance and delivery timelines, and resolving procurement issues. The professional will analyze inventory usage, adjust purchase orders to minimize excess stock and shortages, and implement and monitor inventory control protocols for compliance and efficiency. Additionally, they will develop reports on purchasing trends, inventory performance, and cost management, support supplier negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with production schedules. The role also involves identifying opportunities to reduce procurement and inventory costs and assisting in inventory management system improvements and audits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management.
Knowledge of procurement strategies and inventory control systems.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in inventory and procurement software, as well as data analysis tools.
