About The Position

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for researching product requirements, sourcing vendors, and working with vendors to obtain the highest quality products at competitive prices through the bid process. This role requires a dynamic individual who can contribute to a 24/7 high-energy casino environment with a culture committed to fairness, teamwork, and fun. The position involves managing inventory, coordinating purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements

Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
Knowledge of OSHA storage regulations and hazard chemical labeling and other applicable OSHA requirements.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
Knowledge of gaming and alcohol beverage control laws and regulations.
Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.
Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Responsible for negotiating with vendors to find quality product at competitive prices and adequate delivery time.
Coordinates the purchase order and bid solicitation process.
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of the warehouse.
Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
Responsible for daily inventory stock ordering.
Other duties as assigned.
