About The Position

Stylecraft is seeking a Purchasing Agent to help ensure its homebuilding teams have the materials, pricing, and partnerships needed to build quality homes. The role involves sourcing and purchasing materials while balancing quality, value, and efficiency; building relationships with suppliers and trade partners; negotiating pricing and agreements; and collaborating with Pre-Construction, Estimating, and Construction teams. The Purchasing Agent also conducts site visits, reviews products, and helps improve processes. The position is in person in College Station or Temple, Texas, is full-time, and pays $50,000–$60,000.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 4 years of purchasing, procurement, administrative, data entry, or related experience; construction or homebuilding experience is preferred; or
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction, or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities while remaining focused on results.
• Professional, confident communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Ownership mindset and interest in improving processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials while balancing quality, value, and efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and trade partners that meet Stylecraft’s standards and expectations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements and identify opportunities to maximize value.
• Work with Pre-Construction, Estimating, and Construction teams on material, labor, and product pricing needs.
• Conduct site visits, review product offerings, and help improve processes supporting homebuilding operations.
