About The Position

The Pod 733 Pump Assembly role involves inspecting pumps for damage, removing bushings using a press, sanding burrs, and measuring gear clearance with feeler gauges to bring it within specification. The assembly process includes torquing bolts to specification using torque tools. This position requires an individual who is a decision-maker, has a keen eye for detail, can utilize various tools, machinery, and gauging equipment, and possesses good hand dexterity.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• Ability to use handheld tools such as straight edge, feeler gauge, impact, inline torque gun, hydraulic press or arbor press, and slide hammer
• Standing: Continuously
• Walking: Frequently
• Sitting: Never
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

Responsibilities
