PULSE Content Production Assistant

Berklee College of Music•Boston, MA
•$17 - $17

About The Position

The PULSE Content Production Assistant supports the team that builds and maintains PULSE, Berklee’s online music education platform for teachers and students. The role prepares and updates notation, audio, video, and document assets used in PULSE lessons and places approved content into the platform. This short-term position combines hands-on media production with technical training. During the first weeks, the student employee learns the team’s tools, file standards, and content workflows, then takes on routine tasks with increasing independence. The position may extend beyond eight weeks based on project needs. The student employee is expected to balance professional responsibilities with academic and artistic development. The scope does not include interactive-tool development, notation-player creation or configuration, backend work, or complex technical issues; these remain with the PULSE development team. The team provides initial CMS training, reusable instructions, and ongoing support. The role offers professional development through portfolio-building production work, experience with industry-standard tools and digital content workflows, collaboration with a cross-functional team, and opportunities to develop documentation, communication, and professional judgment.
