About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Pulmonology and Primary Care Physician Assistant to join its established, independent multispecialty practice in Central North Carolina. The position combines pulmonology with primary care, urgent care, and pain management services in an outpatient practice setting. The PA will work with physicians and other providers and provide direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. The role includes developing patient management plans, documenting progress notes, supporting continuity of care, communicating test results and follow-up information to patients, and referring patients to specialists and other appropriate care services. The practice uses Allscripts EMR and offers extensive onsite ancillary services in modern, well-equipped facilities. Phone-only call coverage is 1:28 days or better. Bethany Medical serves the Triad and surrounding communities through locations in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Jamestown, Kernersville, North Wilkesboro, and Mt. Airy. Requirements

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
PA certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Build relationships with patients and provide attentive bedside manner and clinical care.
Develop and implement patient management plans.
Record progress notes and assist in providing continuity of care.
Communicate with patients about testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
Refer patients to specialists and other relevant patient care services.
