About The Position
Bethany Medical is seeking a Cardiology and Primary Care Physician Assistant to join its established independent multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role combines cardiology and primary care with urgent care and pain management services in an outpatient setting. The PA will work with physicians and other providers in a busy practice, deliver and manage direct patient care, and contribute to continuity of care. Practice features include Allscripts EMR, extensive onsite ancillary services, and modern, well-equipped facilities. Call coverage is one day in 28 or better and is phone call only.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification.
- Excellent clinical skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist with continuity of care.
- Communicate with patients about testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
- Refer patients to specialists and other relevant patient care components as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
- Build relationships with patients and provide attentive bedside manner.
