About The Position

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist/Pulmonary Pathologist to join our faculty at the non-tenure-accruing level of Assistant or Associate Professor. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist with an interest in Pulmonary Pathology. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic academic environment focused on clinical excellence, education, and research. Candidates should possess excellent teaching skills and have a strong interest and commitment to teaching. Candidates must possess an MD degree or equivalent and be qualified for an unrestricted physician license in Florida.

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree or equivalent
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible (MD/DO) in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Florida
  • Surgical Pathology experience

Nice To Haves

  • Additional training or expertise in pulmonary pathology is preferred.
