About The Position

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Public Safety Officer to provide security services across its healthcare facilities. The role includes electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds, coordinating facility responses to potential problems affecting patients, employees, and visitors, and enforcing policies and procedures equitably. The officer follows guidelines and ongoing monitoring practices to help maintain a safe workplace and environment of care, works with the Environment of Care committee on security and safety, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives as needed for company business.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
State Guard Certification Registration Card.
State driver's license upon hire, where required by the facility.
Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report, where required by the facility.

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.
