About The Position

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Public Safety Officer to provide security services and help maintain a safe workplace and environment of care for patients, employees, and visitors. The role includes electronic surveillance, systematic manual security rounds, coordinating facility responses to potential problems, and enforcing policies and procedures equitably. The officer follows security guidelines and ongoing monitoring practices, collaborates with the Environment of Care committee on security and safety, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives for company business as needed. Saint Clare's Health is part of Prime Healthcare and serves communities in Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties through hospitals and other healthcare facilities. The stated compensation estimate is $17.00 to $23.74 per hour. Starting compensation is determined during hiring based on factors such as skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

State Guard Certification Registration Card.
High school diploma or equivalent.
State driver's license upon hire, if required by the facility.
Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report, if required by the facility.

Experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
