About The Position

The Public Safety Officer provides security services at Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Illinois. The role includes electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds, coordinating the facility’s response to potential problems involving patients, employees, and visitors, and enforcing policies and procedures equitably. The officer follows security guidelines and ongoing monitoring techniques to help maintain a safe workplace and environment of care. The position also works with the Environment of Care committee, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives for company business as needed. This is a full-time night-shift position, scheduled from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
State driver’s license upon hire.
Current DMV H6 report or driving history report.

Experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
