Public Safety Officer
About The Position
The Public Safety Officer performs security services at Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds. The role coordinates the facility’s response to potential problems involving patients, employees, and visitors; enforces policies and procedures equitably; and uses established guidelines and ongoing monitoring techniques to help maintain a safe workplace and environment of care. The officer works with the Environment of Care committee on security and safety, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives for company business as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- State Guard Certification Registration Card required.
- State driver's license upon hire.
- Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.

- Experience in healthcare security or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
