About The Position

St. Francis Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare institution in Los Angeles providing diagnostic and treatment services and community health programs. The Public Safety Officer performs security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds, and coordinates facility responses to potential problems involving patients, employees, and visitors. The role enforces policies and procedures equitably, follows guidelines and continuous monitoring techniques to support a safe workplace and environment of care, collaborates with the Environment of Care committee, and participates in employee awareness and education. Driving for company business may be required. The position is full-time with a variable shift. The estimated compensation range, including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00 to $27.24. Starting compensation is determined during hiring based on factors such as skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

State Guard Certification Registration Card.
High school diploma or equivalent.
State driver's license upon hire, as required by the facility.
Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report, as required by the facility.

Responsibilities
