About The Position

Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center (ICCHC) and its satellite health centers are the leading providers of primary health care services in the communities we serve, including individuals who are both insured and uninsured. ICCHC provides multi-disciplinary, comprehensive health care services. ICCHC is currently seeking a part-time PR Marketing Student Intern for its New Iberia, LA location.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or Related Field is required.
• Knowledge of various marketing tools and strategies, facilitation and presentation skills, and computer literacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year of experience in a PR/Marketing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of community health center mission and operations a plus.
• Skills in creative thinking, organizing, planning, interpersonal relations, and resource development.

Responsibilities

• Working with Human Resources in planning, development and implementation of all marketing activities of the health center’s marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations activities.
• Contact with local, regional and state leaders, employee newsletters and representing the health center at community events.
• Create various promotional plans and outline the actions necessary for accomplishing those plans.
