About The Position

Brian Communications is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Public Relations Intern for the Fall semester in Philadelphia. This paid internship offers college seniors/juniors invaluable hands-on experience in an agency environment while working flexibly around your class schedule. The internship will run from September 15th to December 3rd, with intern schedules varying with school schedules. Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays are in-office requirements.

Requirements

  • Current college seniors/juniors or post-grad candidates.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Positive attitude and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Center City Philadelphia office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
  • Rising Seniors, Juniors, recent post-grads.
  • Available throughout the duration of the internship program (September 15th - December 3rd).
  • Ability to be on-site at our Center City office for at least 2-3 days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) weekly.
  • Mastery over Microsoft Office – particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience and foundational knowledge in communications related coursework/internships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organized, able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Handle information with professionalism and utmost confidentiality.

  • Share writing samples from previous internships or class projects.
  • Provide a LinkedIn profile.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive media research, develop targeted media lists, monitor industry trends, and provide strategic insights.
  • Track news cycles, identify trends, and help produce compelling content.
  • Assist team members with event logistics, vendor management, and campaign coordination.
  • Draft press materials, support media pitching efforts, and help secure valuable coverage.
  • Provide social media support and content development for agency and client accounts.
  • Support various departments and projects to gain comprehensive insight into agency operations.
