About The Position

Schroders is a global investment manager providing active asset management, wealth management, and investment solutions. Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a 9-week program designed to offer a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and provide insight into how a chosen department operates within Schroders. Interns will participate in introductory training, contribute to live projects within a team, shadow experienced professionals, and network with colleagues and other interns. This internship offers practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in a career in Asset Management. We are seeking an energetic, results-oriented intern to join the product group within the Sustainable Investment Team. This role requires excellent data management and technology skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. The intern will become a subject matter expert on sustainability at Schroders, developing a deep understanding of the company's approach to this topic.

Requirements

• Currently in Junior Year, graduating in 2028.
• Basic understanding of macroeconomic trends and investment concepts relevant to asset management.
• Clear interest in financial markets and investing.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with large or complex numerical datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Growth mindset: hunger to seek and receive feedback and continuously challenge yourself to grow.
• Ability to present ideas and insights confidently to a range of audiences.
• Ability to approach business and investment challenges with logical thinking, using structured reasoning.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• An interest in Sustainability, ESG and Impact oriented investing.
• Good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in coding languages is a potential advantage.
