About The Position

The 2027 Summer Internship Program at Schroders is a 9-week program designed to provide interns with a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and insight into how specific departments operate. Interns will participate in comprehensive introductory training, be assigned to a team to contribute to live projects and gain hands-on experience, shadow experienced professionals, and network with colleagues and other interns. This internship offers practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in a career in Asset Management. The program runs from Monday, June 7th to Friday, August 6th, 2027, and is specifically for students in their Junior Year, graduating in 2028.

Requirements

  • Currently in Junior Year, graduating in 2028.
  • Basic understanding of macroeconomic trends and investment concepts relevant to asset management.
  • Clear interest in financial markets and investing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with large or complex numerical datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Growth mindset: hunger to seek and receive feedback and continuously challenge yourself to grow.
  • Ability to present ideas and insights confidently to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to approach business and investment challenges with logical thinking, using structured reasoning.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • An interest in Sustainability, ESG and Impact oriented investing.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in coding languages is a potential advantage.
