About The Position

The 2027 Summer Internship Program at Schroders is a 9-week program designed to provide a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and insight into how specific departments operate. The program runs from Monday, June 7th to Friday, August 6th, 2027. Interns will participate in introductory training, contribute to live projects within assigned teams, gain hands-on experience, shadow experienced professionals, and network with colleagues and other interns. This internship offers practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for a career in Asset Management. Schroders is a global investment manager with a diversified business model, serving a wide range of clients across various asset classes, client types, and geographies. Founded in 1804, the company has approximately 5,500 employees in 36 global locations.

Requirements

  • Must be in your Junior Year of study, graduating in 2028.
  • A basic understanding of macroeconomic trends and investment concepts relevant to asset management.
  • A clear interest in financial markets and investing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work with large or complex numerical datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A growth mindset: a hunger to seek and receive feedback and to continuously challenge yourself to grow.
  • The ability to present ideas and insights confidently to a range of audiences.
  • The ability to approach business and investment challenges with logical thinking, using structured reasoning.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to understand our target audiences.

  • Proficiency in coding languages is a potential advantage.
