About The Position

The 2027 Summer Internship Program at Schroders is a 9-week program designed to provide a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and insight into how a chosen department operates. Interns will participate in comprehensive introductory training, contribute to live projects within a assigned team, shadow experienced professionals, and network with colleagues and other interns. This internship offers practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in a career in Asset Management.

Requirements

  • Be in your Junior Year, graduating in 2028.
  • A basic understanding of macroeconomic trends and investment concepts relevant to asset management.
  • A clear interest in financial markets and investing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work with large or complex numerical datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A growth mindset: a hunger to seek and receive feedback and to continuously challenge yourself to grow.
  • The ability to present ideas and insights confidently to a range of audiences.
  • The ability to approach business and investment challenges with logical thinking, using structured reasoning.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to understand our target audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in coding languages is a potential advantage.
