This is a temporary position located at 4312 District Drive Raleigh, NC 27607 -- Wake County, with the Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health. The position is focused on new and updated methods for pathogens associated with the impacts of hurricanes. The role will support the Lead Public Health Scientist, overseeing project timelines and aiding in validation/verification. It will also assist in the implementation of novel modern assays and workflows, integration of instrument platforms for scalability, and training of existing staff on new methods. This position may also participate in surge testing if needed.
