The Fiscal Analyst (Administrative Specialist I) is responsible for fiscal and budgetary functions for his/her respective division within Community Supervision to include but not limited to purchasing, fixed assets, motor fleet management, telecommunications, management information systems, computer program security, leases and budget management. This individual is responsible for conducting financial analysis, processing purchasing activities, and performing account reconciliations using the North Carolina Financial System (NCFS) and North Carolina E-Procurement System, while maintaining data accuracy and integrity across financial subsystems. The Fiscal Analyst works independently under the general supervision and guidelines set by the Judicial Division Director. The position serves as approving authority for fiscal, budgetary and financial transactions initiated by Judicial District Managers. This position works with other agency business heads and interdepartmental officials within Community Supervision and the Department of Adult Correction. The ideal candidate will be a highly detail-oriented and dependable individual who can work independently while handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
