The PTTC Prevention Fellowship Program aims to increase the number of prevention scientists in the field by developing and sustaining a well-trained cadre of prevention professionals. These professionals will understand and exemplify the principles and best practices of substance misuse prevention, preparing them for the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) exam. Each fellow will be assigned to a prevention placement site for 26 hours per week, gaining exposure to daily operations. Training will be provided by the PTTC, with learning and capacity development activities coordinated by the Prevention Science Mentor and PTTC network staff. This is a field position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The program runs from September 30, 2026, to September 29, 2027, with a potential for a one-year extension.
