About The Position

This posting is for a Part-Time Professor position for the Fall 2026 semester, teaching ESL 130 (Academic Enhancement in English) at the Main Campus. The course focuses on refining reading and listening skills, improving critical thinking, and developing self-correction strategies in speaking and writing through activities like debates, presentations, summaries, and academic essays. The term runs from September 9 to December 11, 2026, with classes scheduled Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This position is limited to Part-Time Language Instructors (OLBI). Requirements

  • Master's degree in second language teaching, TESL or related discipline.
  • Two years of experience teaching ESL at the college/university level.
  • Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course.
  • Experience with team-teaching.
  • TESL Certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to complete all mandatory legislated training.
