About The Position

This is a Part-Time Professor position for the Spring-Summer 2026 academic period, specifically for ESL 160 S650 within the uOttawa English Experience Program. The course is an integrated four-skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) class that uses a task-based teaching approach. The primary focus is on developing language skills and intercultural competence for real-world communicative tasks. Requirements

Master's degree in second language teaching, TESL or related discipline
Two years of experience teaching ESL at the college/university level
Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course
Experience with team-teaching
TESL Certification or equivalent
Ability to teach in-person on the University of Ottawa campus
