This position is for a Part-Time Professor teaching ESL 105 (Foundations in English) for beginners during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa's Main Campus. The course focuses on basic reading and listening skills, including identifying topics, main ideas, and details in simplified passages. Speaking and writing components involve simple conversations, short discussions, and the construction of simple and compound sentences. The course is offered exclusively on campus and requires in-person instruction. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with professors mutually agreeing on teaching days for the section. The unit reserves the right to select teaching days if there are conflicts or limited sections.
