About The Position
The PT Hub Supervisor supervises, trains, develops, and holds ramp employees accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety, and provides effective leadership while fostering working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The schedule may be Tuesday through Saturday or Monday through Friday, depending on employer needs and discretion; flexible shift hours may be required, up to five days per week.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to five days per week.
- Meet local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Responsibilities
- Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
- Implement employee personal development plans as needed to support professional growth.
- Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
- Hold ramp employees accountable for safety, production, and attendance.
