About The Position

This position supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The role provides effective leadership and cultivates working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.

The supervisor ensures employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements. The role manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency; promotes a positive, team-oriented environment; and supports employee involvement, communication, cooperation, and continual improvement. The supervisor implements development plans and ensures employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, relevant materials and information, regular evaluations, and coaching.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

• Management experience.
