About The Position

Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance is hiring a motivated, full-time PT Clinic Director for its outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy clinic in New Castle, Delaware. The role combines physical therapist responsibilities with additional Clinic Director duties. The clinic provides evidence-based, patient-centered care and aims to deliver excellent outcomes. The organization treats musculoskeletal conditions and offers services including orthopedic and sports physical therapy, dry needling, vestibular interventions, splinting and certified hand therapy, industrial injury prevention and rehabilitation, auto accident recovery, post-concussion treatment, balance training, post-surgical rehabilitation, athletic training, and care for acute and chronic pain and injuries.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Graduate Program.
Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist (PT) license.
CPR certification.
Outgoing and energetic personality.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Review physician referrals, patient conditions, and medical records to determine required physical therapy treatment.
Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and patient care guidelines.
Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers.
Be responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
Complete written plans of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and create comprehensive programs to attain those goals.
Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential physical therapy treatments.
Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, insurance companies, and other professional colleagues.
Complete timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
Perform additional duties as Clinic Director.
