About The Position
The PT Assistant Float provides treatment to residents and patients under a physical therapy plan of care established by a therapist. The position serves all BHS communities as needed and may require travel to multiple sites in one day. The assistant interacts with residents and patients, family members, responsible parties, and other health care team members while maintaining professional conduct and complying with applicable regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant, in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment to residents and patients under a physical therapy plan of care established by a therapist.
- Interact with residents and patients, family members, responsible parties, and other health care team members while maintaining standards of professional conduct.
- Comply with regulatory standards of the American Association of Physical Therapy, the Department of Health, and other applicable professional guidelines or standards.
- Provide treatment to all BHS communities as needed; travel to multiple sites in a day may be required.
