Full time Float PTA
About The Position
The Float Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment to residents and patients under a physical therapy plan of care established by a therapist. The position interacts with residents and patients, family members, responsible parties, and other members of the health care team while maintaining professional conduct. The assistant provides treatment across BHS communities as needed and may travel to multiple sites in a day. The role must comply with applicable regulatory standards, including those of the American Association of Physical Therapy, the Department of Health, and other professional guidelines or standards.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant, in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment to residents and patients under a physical therapy plan of care established by a therapist.
- Interact with residents and patients, family members, responsible parties, and other health care team members while maintaining professional conduct.
- Provide treatment at BHS communities as needed; travel to multiple sites in a day when required.
- Comply with applicable regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
