PT Air Ramp Supervisor
About The Position
The PT Air Ramp Supervisor supervises, trains, develops, and holds ramp employees accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The role provides effective leadership and builds working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The position manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency, while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on employee involvement, proactive communication, cooperation between departments, and continual improvement. It also supports employees’ professional development through orientation, skills and safety training, materials and information, regular evaluations, coaching, and personal development plans as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Meet local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Responsibilities

- Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
- Implement employee personal development plans as required.
- Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
