About The Position

This position supervises, trains, develops, and holds ramp employees responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The employee sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The position provides innovative and effective leadership and cultivates functional working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Meet local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures and operate in compliance with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implement employee personal development plans as required to support continued professional growth.
• Ensure employees receive detailed orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
