Wesleyan University's Office of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides comprehensive mental health services to support the psychological and emotional well-being of its approximately 2,900 undergraduate and 100 graduate students. CAPS operates weekdays from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM with limited evening appointments and offers 24/7 clinician access through an on-call rotation. The office utilizes a community health model that integrates clinical services with prevention, education, consultation, training for students, and outreach to the broader campus community. The psychotherapist, reporting to the Director of CAPS, will provide individual and group psychotherapy, contribute to clinical assessment and risk management, consultation, outreach and prevention programming, and the training and supervision of clinical trainees.
