Requirements

  • At least 1 year providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders
  • Ability to work with both older adult and youth/child populations.
  • Must possess an active license to practice counseling or social work in the State of Illinois: LSW, LPC, or have MSW and work towards the licensure
  • No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
  • Maintain credentials and licensure with all major insurance companies and licensing boards with the assistance of Silver Lining credentialing staff.
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general and professional documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience as a psychotherapy provider
  • Experience in telemedicine

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy services to adult and youth clients with behavioral health issues.
  • Coordinate with Silver Lining’s outpatient counseling and psychiatric nurses.
  • Deliver services that may include a combination of office-based and telehealth to serve clients at remote locations.
  • Deliver high-quality, client-centered care.
  • Document and navigate EHR independently.
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with individuals involved in all aspects of programming: children, parents, school faculty and staff, grantors, funders, partner agencies, members of the community, and Silver Lining team members.
  • Work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
  • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Foster teamwork; train and direct the work of team members and colleagues.
