About The Position

Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is a group private practice providing psychotherapy to young adults, middle-aged adults, the elderly, and couples across a wide range of communities, groups, and populations. This is a remote position, requiring candidates to have a private and confidential area for remote video therapy. The practice offers $500 per year towards trainings for eligible clinicians and is focused on professional growth, learning, self-improvement, and creating an environment where therapists feel valued and heard. Requirements

Active NYS LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP license.
Proven success utilizing intervention, not limited to DBT, ACT and/or CBT.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Experience working with electronic medical records.
Reliable computer and internet service and appropriate remote work environment to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with patients struggling with PTSD and PTSD-related issues or Obsessive Compulsion Related Disorders.
Formal training in Trauma or OCD.

Responsibilities

Provide intake assessments and administer psychotherapy to individuals and couples (if desired).
Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with insurance and practice expectations.
Schedule appointments with patients.
Participate in weekly team meetings.
Perform a variety of other job-related responsibilities as requested.
