Psychology Student Tutor

Grinnell CollegeGrinnell, IA

About The Position

The Psychology Department is seeking tutors with availability throughout the academic year. The most common courses for which tutors are arranged are PSY 113 (Intro) and PSY 225 (Research Methods), though students can request tutoring in any course. Tutors are connected with tutees on an as-needed basis and with the approval of individual course faculty. Application information will be kept on file, and tutors will be contacted based on need. Being on the list of tutors does not guarantee that you will be asked to tutor, as tutors work on an as-needed basis. When tutoring occurs, it typically amounts to a few hours of work per semester maximum. In rarer cases, tutors may meet weekly with tutees. Please email Barbara Brown [BROWNB] with any questions about the position.
