About The Position

Watson Clinic is seeking a full-time outpatient Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join its expanding Behavioral Health team in Lakeland, Florida. The team treats a wide variety of mental, addictive, movement, behavioral, and emotional disorders in children and adults. The position requires knowledge of psychology principles applicable to care, treatment, and rehabilitation of people with behavioral, developmental, or psychological disturbances. The role is part of a large physician-owned, multispecialty practice with more than 220 physicians across 19 locations, more than 40 specialties, and an internal referral network from primary care physicians. No hospital coverage is required. The clinic uses EPIC EMR and provides support for billing and collections, coding, transcription, and electronic medical records. A guaranteed salary is offered for the first year. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Watson Clinic offers health and dental insurance, malpractice coverage, paid time off, a 401(k), and other benefits.

Requirements

Earned doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited college or university (PhD or PsyD).
Current license to practice as a psychologist in Florida.
Knowledge of psychological testing devices and methods.
Knowledge of psychology principles applicable to the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of children and adults with behavioral, developmental, or psychological disturbances.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient psychology services to children and adults with mental, addictive, movement, behavioral, emotional, developmental, or psychological disturbances.
Apply psychology principles to patient care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Use psychological testing devices and methods.
