About The Position

Requirements

  • Experience with children through work, study, coaching, or volunteering.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to complete Livescan, TB, and immunization requirements promptly.
  • Comfort supporting hygiene/toileting.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on the floor, and move quickly for safety.
  • Availability for two weeks of full-time onsite training.
  • Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Psychology major or recent graduate.
  • College enrollment or degree preferred.
  • Graduate students in ABA may be eligible for clinical training and BACB supervision hours based on performance, role fit, availability, and program needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children applying observation, reinforcement, data collection, skill acquisition, and rapport-building techniques.
  • Assist children with autism in building communication, social, self-care, and school-readiness skills.
  • Collect data during sessions.
  • Apply behavior science principles in real-world sessions.
