About The Position

This position focuses on providing clinical services and therapeutic support to patients in a structured treatment environment. The role emphasizes direct care, teamwork, and adherence to established standards. As a Psychological Services Specialist, DHS, you will perform the following duties: Group Therapy: Lead structured group sessions based on treatment plans and unit schedules Individual Counseling: Provide one on one therapy using evidence based methods Treatment Planning: Contribute clinical insight during team meetings and assist with recovery plan development Clinical Testing: Administer and interpret psychological tests under supervision when assigned Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records including assessments and progress notes Crisis Support: Assist team members with crisis intervention through prevention and de escalation strategies Interested in learning more? Requirements

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science, counseling education, rehabilitation, human development or a closely related field.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
• Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
