About The Position

Centurion Health is hiring a full-time Psychiatrist at State Correctional Institution-Fayette in La Belle, Pennsylvania. The position is 30–40 hours per week, with the potential for a combination of on-site and telehealth coverage. Centurion Health has partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections to provide mental healthcare services since 2003. The role offers work with a clinically rich and diverse patient population, with time to initiate change, track progress, and conduct follow-up care.

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients. The position works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA.
• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
• Successfully complete the security clearance process required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
• Work under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
