CSU Psychiatrist in San Diego
About The Position
Alliance for Wellness is a physician-founded and physician-led psychiatric group serving Southern California since 2010. We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our diverse and seasoned group of Board-Certified Providers to support our San Diego County partner. This full-time position will support Palomar Medical Center's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Escondido, San Diego, CA. The role involves providing inpatient psychiatric care, rounding in-person with support from a multidisciplinary team, and utilizing the hospital EMR for efficient patient care. Telehealth services are also available for treating patients via video/phone. The psychiatrist will manage all aspects of psychiatric care, including consults, psychiatric holds, and discharge disposition.
Requirements
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist
- California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Will see approximately 20 patients per day.

Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care, rounding in-person with support from a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.
- Provide collaborative and efficient patient care by utilizing the hospital EMR.
- Availability to provide telehealth services, treating patients via video/phone.
- Equipped to manage all aspects of psychiatric care, including consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition, and related patient care.
