Psychiatrist - Alameda Youth CSU
About The Position
This position involves directing medical treatment for members served within the scope of a Psychiatrist's licensure. The role includes participating in program leadership by communicating with program staff and members served, and ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. The Alameda County Youth CSU is a Crisis Stabilization Unit serving youth populations within Alameda County, providing screening/triage, medication support, and brief treatment in a safe, protective setting. These programs may be co-located with acute inpatient programs for warm hand-off transfers, with a typical length of stay up to 24 hours.
Requirements
- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
- Active DEA in good standing
Responsibilities
- Direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure.
- Participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served.
- Ensure superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.
