About The Position

Provides competent patient care for individuals with a variety of DSMIV Diagnoses, focusing on individual differences, abnormal behavior, mental disorders, and their prevention as well as improvement of patient lifestyles. Serves as a consultant to other healthcare personnel. Administers and interprets psychological testing and completes reports. Provides clinical supervision to students, psychometrists, and clinicians in a variety of therapeutic approaches. Develops, implements, coordinates, and supervises provision of group therapy programs.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Completion of a psychiatric residency program
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of mental disorders
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological testing
• Experience in clinical supervision
• Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches
• Experience in developing and implementing group therapy programs
