About The Position
River Oaks Hospital is a leading private facility, offering top-notch psychiatric and addictive disease treatments for a diverse age group, including children/adolescents, adults, and seniors. Our mission is to enhance the mental health and overall quality of life for individuals and families through personalized, safe, and nurturing care. Our team comprises dedicated professionals who are part of highly skilled, multidisciplinary treatment teams. This is an Inpatient General Psychiatrist role with a Monday-Friday schedule and shared weekend and weeknight call coverage. It is a full-time employed position.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Louisiana medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child/adolescent patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
