Requirements

Active medical license in California
A passion for helping people struggling with drug or alcohol use
Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards
Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Experience with telehealth
1+ year of experience treating substance use disorder
Business-fluent Spanish and English
Experience working with marginalized and underserved populations

Responsibilities

Treat patients struggling with substance use.
Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients at all stages of their recovery journey.
Collaborate with organizational leaders to maintain program quality, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and promote the well-being of patients and staff.
Conduct patient intakes and follow-ups.
Develop individualized patient assessments and treatment plans.
Manage patient medications.
Communicate with patients between appointments for urgent needs.
Complete documentation in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the treatment team, including the medical director, therapists, and case managers, to create comprehensive treatment plans.
Treat patients struggling with drug or alcohol use.
Complete documentation.
Assist mid-levels (e.g., Nurse Practitioners) with complicated cases.
