About The Position
Hartgrove Hospital, a premier for-profit psychiatric hospital and a flagship for UHS, is seeking a General Psychiatrist with a strong focus on Addictions. This is a full-time, employed position (W2) in an In-Patient Setting. The role involves treating dual-diagnosed older adolescents and adults with primary psychiatric issues and secondary substance abuse issues. There is a leadership opportunity as the Associate Director of Addictions. The hospital utilizes Electronic Health Records. There are no weekend rounding requirements, and call is rotated with the group on a Mon-Fri (1:8) basis.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Possess an IL Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in treating dual-diagnosed patients.
- Experience with primary psychiatric issues and secondary substance abuse issues.
Responsibilities
