About The Position
Well-established inpatient psychiatric program seeks additional psychiatrist. Work alongside 3 other providers along with nurses, mental health assistants & social workers, within a hospital that houses both adult & geriatric units. Schedule consists of flexible work hours including the possibility for block scheduling and is supported by a motivating admin team. Responsibilities include providing full inpatient psychiatric services. Geriatric fellowship and experience would be preferred, but not required. Compensation package is highly competitive and includes a generous salary, incentives, a sign-on bonus, relocation, vacation, CME, full benefits, malpractice and a retirement plan. Hospital services over 80K residents and the area features excellent schools, a lively downtown and convenient access to Asheville and surrounding cities.
