About The Position

Garnet Health Doctors is seeking a Psychiatrist to join its Psychiatry team at facilities in Middletown and Harris, New York. The role serves a diverse patient community in a collaborative and supportive environment and may involve inpatient, outpatient, consult liaison, or telepsychiatry work. Graduating residents are welcome to apply. GME leadership opportunities and other opportunities through the Psychiatry Residency Program are available, as is an opportunity to teach at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Garnet Health Doctors is a multi-specialty medical group affiliated with Garnet Health, a not-for-profit health system serving the Hudson Valley and Catskills region. The organization offers inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services and provides care in person, via telehealth, and through live video appointments.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
• Residency training in the United States, including a Psychiatry residency.
• Active New York State medical license.
• Board eligibility or board certification in Psychiatry within five years of residency completion.
• New York State DEA registration required.
• New York State Infection Control certification.
• Certified BLS certification required.
• ECFMG certification required if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification preferred.
