About The Position

Iris Telehealth is hiring board-certified Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to provide remote psychiatric evaluations and consultations for inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room teams across multiple hospital systems. The role serves patients of all ages and involves collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams to expand access to behavioral healthcare. Nurse Practitioner supervision is required, with an additional supervision stipend available.

The position is 100% remote and offers day, mid-day, and nocturnist shifts. The schedule is 13–16 shifts per month, including 3–4 weekend shifts. Compensation starts at $185 per hour under a productivity-based model, with a $20,000 bonus available to eligible full-time psychiatrists. The role is listed as a 1099 position.

Clinicians receive support with licensing, credentialing, onboarding, IT, and administrative tasks, as well as malpractice coverage and home-office support. Requirements

• Board certification in psychiatry.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency.
• At least 2 years of consult-liaison experience post-residency.
• Experience in acute-care psychiatric settings, such as inpatient, emergency department, crisis stabilization, consultation-liaison, acute detoxification, or other high-acuity behavioral health settings.
• Telehealth experience.
• Willingness to provide Nurse Practitioner supervision.
• Comfort working across multiple health systems and varying acuity levels.
• Must reside within the United States or a U.S. territory.

Nice To Haves

• Experience treating patients ages 5 and older, particularly in emergency department settings.
• Epic experience.
